The Role
We are looking for a Lecturer in Sport to cover for maternity leave. As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of Sport programmes within the Technical Centre. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered. You will also fill the role of course leader.
What we are looking for
You must have a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC degree in a relevant subject or the equivalent in industry relevant qualification and a recognised teaching qualification or be currently working towards. You must also have a level 2 Maths & English qualification (or equivalent). Current industrial experience in appropriate discipline and/or up to date knowledge of current industrial practice is essential as is experience of teaching a wide range of levels evidenced by high achievement rates
