Role: Speech & Language Therapist Banding: Band 6-7 Location: Brighton Job Type: Temp (8 weeks) Salary: £25.00 - £37.00 per hour
We are urgently seeking a Speech & Language Therapist for an 8-week temporary role in Brighton. This position requires experience with Dysphagia and adult acute care. Band 6 candidates should be dysphagia competent, while Band 7 candidates should be competent in both dysphagia and tracheostomy care. Head and neck experience is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own clinical caseload.
Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership to our dynamic therapy team.
Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver exceptional, cost-effective services.
Be a key player in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization.
Oversee the financial and resource management within the therapies department.
Champion continuous professional development, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Requirements:
Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
HCPC registration.
Experience working with children or adults with communication needs.
Knowledge of clinical governance principles and audit processes.
Valid driver's license.
