Our client, a leading provider of high-quality Social Care services, are looking to recruit an experienced, personable Business Development Manager to drive growth across their private client services - intiially on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the likelihood to evolve into a permanent role. Working on a hybrid basis (2 days in the Poole HQ / the remainder working from home), this is an incredible opportunity for the perfect candidate. Our client are very well-established in their field and help to support people to live fulfilling and independent lives. They deliver a wide range of services including residential and nursing care, dementia care, rehabilitation, reablement, respite care and community-based support, and are committed to innovation and quality. Due to their desire to really grow the private arm of the business, they are seeking the perfect candidate to shift their mindset and make a huge impact on their day-to-day business. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Increasing occupancy, expanding service lines, developing referral pathways, and enhancing the company's market presence.- Working closely with operational teams, clinical professionals, and senior leaders to identify growth opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and create sustainable income streams (whilst maintaining the company's commitment to exceptional care outcomes)- Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to increase enquiries, assessments, admissions, and occupancy across the company's private nursing and dementia care homes- Analysing market trends, competitor activity, demographic changes, and local demand to identify growth opportunities and inform business development plans
- Establishing measurable targets and key performance indicators for private client growth and regularly report progress to senior leadership
- Creating promotional campaigns and partnership initiatives that position the company as a preferred provider for all support/services
- Working collaboratively with operational and support teams to design and implement a company-wide referral and enquiry hub
- Developing streamlined processes that improve responsiveness, conversion rates, customer experience, and data collection
- Monitoring performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements to maximise occupancy and service utilisation
- Developing assessment frameworks, quality standards, and governance processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including NHS organisations/Integrated Care Boards/Hospital discharge teams/Local authorities/Voluntary sector organisations, etc
