Working across a broad range of classes, you'll partner closely with underwriting, portfolio management and senior stakeholders to drive pricing strategy, provide commercial insight and support profitable growth across the business. The Role
Deliver pricing analyses and strategic recommendations across multiple lines of business. Work closely with underwriters to support business planning, portfolio optimisation and risk selection. Lead and contribute to pricing model development and enhancements. Provide commercial insight into portfolio performance, market trends and emerging risks. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the business. Mentor and support junior members of the pricing team, with a clear pathway into formal people management responsibilities. Contribute to the ongoing development of pricing capability, tools and processes.
About You
Qualified Actuary with post-qualification pricing experience. London Market or commercial lines insurance background. Strong technical pricing skills and experience working with pricing models and data analytics. Commercially minded with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior underwriters and leadership teams. Previous mentoring, coaching or leadership experience would be advantageous, although prior formal line management experience is not required. Ambitious and motivated to progress into a people management role.
