Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a major specialist contractor in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on high value project at Hinkley Point. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the most prestigious current UK based projects. This role will be a Fixed Term Contract employed position for a minimum of 2 years with an excellent salary and benefits package.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of this key nuclear industry project Commercial responsibility for the contract management and delivery Managing variations and changes with customers Working as part of an experienced commercial team Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need:
Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS Construction industry experience in a commercial role Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts Good communication skills with the ability to influence An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
