Coventry | Hybrid Working | £54,000-£59,000 + Benefits
Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for a role where you can genuinely influence decision-making?
We are partnering with a large, highly respected organisation to recruit a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, and helping drive business performance.
This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You'll be a trusted finance partner to managers across the business, helping them understand financial performance, challenge assumptions, and make informed commercial decisions.
The Opportunity
Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance function, you'll take ownership of the financial management of a designated area of the business. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate management information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing meaningful analysis that supports strategic and operational objectives.
The successful candidate will have regular exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key role in translating financial data into actionable business insight.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce monthly management accounts and performance reporting. Partner with operational and project stakeholders to provide financial support and challenge. Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities for your business area. Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Support decision-making through robust financial modelling and analysis. Ensure strong financial controls and governance are maintained. Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and finance operations. Contribute to business planning and strategic initiatives.
Skills & Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong commercial awareness and the ability to interpret financial information within an operational context. Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience managing budgets, forecasts and month-end reporting processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar would be advantageous. A proactive approach with a desire to challenge, improve and add value.
Benefits & Package:
Information from public records, not immigration advice.
