Marc Daniels is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Hounslow for a market-leading logistics organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with non-finance stakeholders, presenting financial information and contributing to wider FP&A activity.
This role is perfect for a Management Accountant looking to broaden their experience and gain valuable exposure to FP&A within a commercially focused finance environment.
The Role
Preparing and delivering accurate monthly management accounts. Taking ownership of the full P&L, monitoring revenue, costs and profitability while providing clear financial insight to support business performance. Producing detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary. Presenting financial reports and key performance updates to non-finance stakeholders. Acting as a trusted business partner to budget holders and operational teams. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities. Providing financial analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making. Investigating variances and identifying opportunities to improve business performance. Supporting FP&A activities, including scenario modelling, reporting and performance analysis. Contributing to process improvements across the finance function. Ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and clearly communicated.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience preparing monthly management accounts. Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders. Confidence presenting financial information to managers and senior stakeholders. Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and wider FP&A activities. Strong analytical and financial reporting skills. The ability to explain complex financial information clearly. Excellent Excel skills and experience using finance systems. A commercially focused, proactive and hands-on approach. Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
