Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Technician (Late Shift)
Immediate Start | £21-24 Per hour + Overtime
Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a late shift role with a successful, family-run business? Do you enjoy fault-finding, maintaining machinery, and keeping operations running at peak performance? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
Our client is a well-established organisation with over 30 years of success, a strong industry reputation, and a commitment to investing in its people. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Engineering Team with the addition of a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
Fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of plant and production equipment. Service and inspection of conveyors, material handling systems, motors, and high-speed processing machinery. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Complete safety inspections and ensure equipment meets OEM standards. Adhere to Health & Safety and QHSE procedures. Help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment.
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent). Experience with conveyors, motors, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, generators, and diesel engines. Welding and fabrication skills. Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Shift Pattern, Mon-Fr, 3pm-Midnight and Saturdays when business requires.
