Join a Forensic Science Department as a Lecturer in Forensic Science. This role is crucial in facilitating the delivery of Biology, Chemistry, and Forensic Science on BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 study programmes. Day-to-day of the role of a Forensic Science Lecturer :
Teach and assess a range of Biology, Chemistry, and Forensic Science units from Level 2 up to Level 3 across various courses. Act as a course tutor for Forensic Science students, supporting them effectively in all aspects of their learning. Facilitate internal moderation and quality assurance processes. Liaise effectively with employers, universities, awarding bodies, and their representatives. Support students in finding and completing mandatory work experience. Produce high-quality course documentation and maintain accurate student records. Develop and coordinate new and existing courses in response to curriculum changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Honours Degree in Science/Forensic Science or a relevant subject. Teaching qualification or a willingness to gain one. Experience in teaching or training in Science or Forensic Science-related subjects. Ability to produce high-quality assessment materials that comply with National Standards. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
