Engineering Teacher - Scunthorpe-Academics Temporary Long-Term Role
Academics Ltd are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Engineering Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Scunthorpe. This is a temporary long-term role, offering an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive environment.
As an Engineering Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential in engineering and related disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a genuine passion for supporting student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering well-structured and stimulating lessons in Engineering.
Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with school policies.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to raise attainment and engagement.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Degree or specialism in Engineering or a related subject.
Previous experience as an Engineering Teacher at secondary or post-16 level.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
