Overview
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a growing international business based in Warwick, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their collaborative head office finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified candidate looking for a role that offers genuine breadth, combining management accounting, financial control and operational finance within a business that continues to invest in both its people and its processes.
This is far more than a traditional month-end position. You'll take ownership of the management accounts for an overseas entity while supporting wider UK reporting, giving you exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency accounting from day one. Alongside producing insightful financial information, you'll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping departments understand financial performance, improving reporting processes and identifying opportunities to make the finance function more efficient through automation and continuous improvement.
As your knowledge of the business grows, you'll become a key member of the finance team, supporting a broad range of activities including international VAT, treasury, payroll and stock reporting. You'll also have the opportunity to supervise two junior finance team members, making this an ideal role for someone looking to combine strong technical accounting with leadership responsibility in a business that offers clear long-term progression.
Skills Needed
Experience producing or supporting monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting. Strong Excel skills with confidence manipulating large data sets and producing meaningful analysis. Good understanding of management accounting principles with exposure to month-end processes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support non-finance stakeholders and supervise junior team members. Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous, alongside experience within a multi-entity or international finance environment.
What You Will Receive
Ownership of the monthly management accounts for an international entity alongside exposure to wider UK reporting. A broad and varied role spanning management accounting, treasury, payroll, VAT and process improvement. The opportunity to supervise junior team members while developing your own leadership skills. A supportive finance team offering ongoing mentoring, study support and genuine progression opportunities. A collaborative office environment with exposure to international operations and the chance to make a real impact as the business continues to grow.
