Are you an experienced FAIRs Engineer or Quality Engineer? Do you have experience with First Article Inspection and interpreting engineering drawings? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer, is recruiting for a FAIR Engineer for their site in Derb y. The role will involve supporting quality control throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring customer requirements and business standards are consistently met . Carry out First Article Inspections and provide First Article Inspection Reports in line with customer and business requirements. Inspect and verify parts throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met. Support non-conformance procedures, root cause analysis and resolution to drive improvements in manufacturing quality. Work closely with production and quality teams to build quality into the manufacturing process and achieve quality and production targets. Represent the quality function within team meetings and support continuous improvement across the business.
FAIR Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Previous experience within an engineering or quality environment.
Experience with First Article Inspection and producing First Article Inspection Reports. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience working to ISO 9001, ideally within an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
