Role: Electrical Engineering Lecturer Location: Greater Manchester | Further Education Rate: : £40 - £45 per hour Hours: 3 days per week Location: Greater Manchester Contract: Temporary Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join a leading Further Education team in Greater Manchester on a 0.6 FTE basis (three days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for an industry-experienced electrical/electronic engineer or an experienced FE lecturer looking to make a real difference to the next generation of engineers and electricians. The Role You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Electrical and Electronic Engineering, supporting students to develop the practical, theoretical and employability skills required for successful careers in the industry. Teaching will include:
- BTEC Unit 19 - Electrical and Electronic Principles
- Electrical Installation for electrical apprentices
- Supporting delivery across relevant electrical/electronic engineering programmes
- Some Mathematics units,
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and contribute to a positive learning environment that supports students to achieve their full potential. About You We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant qualifications and/or significant industry experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Experience of teaching, training or mentoring learners, ideally within an FE or apprenticeship setting
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation and engineering principles
- The ability to deliver engaging, inclusive and effective learning
- A commitment to supporting students and apprentices to achieve their qualifications and progress into employment or further study
- A teaching qualification and relevant assessor qualifications would be advantageous
