We are hiring an experienced Qualified Social Worker for a locum position within the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Kirklees.
Role Details
Position: Locum CWD Social Worker
Location: Huddersfield / Kirklees (Hybrid Working)
Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Ongoing Locum (Full-Time, 37 hrs/week)

Key Responsibilities
Complete outcome-focused assessments for children and young people with severe and complex disabilities.
Manage Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) plans.
Coordinate specialist short breaks, direct payment packages, and multi-agency support.
Collaborate closely with SEN teams, health professionals, occupational therapists, and schools.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Social Work with active Social Work England registration.
Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience in a statutory CWD, Safeguarding, or Locality team.
Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
DBS registered on the Update Service.
