Job Title: Locum Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian Location: South London Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Hourly Rate: £25 - £27 Working Hours: Full-time
Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join the team with our client in South London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive clinical setting, managing a diverse and rewarding paediatric caseload.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic care to children and families, working with a varied caseload including neonates, premature babies, and patients with complex nutritional needs. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise across multiple specialist areas while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied paediatric caseload including neonates and premature infants.
Provide nutritional support for Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) patients, including babies and children.
Support patients with coeliac disease and faltering growth.
Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and tailored nutritional interventions.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Have experience working as a paediatric dietitian at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge across paediatric and neonatal nutrition.
Experience with Home Enteral Feeding is essential.
Familiarity with Cerner or EMIS systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
