Production Drawing Data Technician

Location: Victory Road, Derby, DE24 8EL Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 38 hours per week, Mon-Fri. About Role: We are looking for an experienced individual who will play an integral part in our planned expansion of the machine shop and business. You will also be required to train other members of our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their skills further working in a fast paced environment. The role of Production Drawing Data Technician will be responsible for the preparation of manufacturing master data documents for products in UK Production, and to keep the ERP system up to date with relevant information used in the manufacture of parts. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Independent and autonomous preparation of drawings, quality and process documents for products of our licensors, such as Rolls-Royce, Airbus etc. Creation and maintenance of master data in SAP (materials, parts lists, change management, etc.). Contact person for recording and, if necessary, implementing changes to the production documents. Close cooperation with production and learning various manufacturing processes. Assist Production Manager and other team members in achieving/ exceeding KPIs and proactively contribute to continuous improvement company wide. Prepare and present internal and external reports for management and stakeholders. Develop good working relationships with stakeholders to be able to embed the company’s control standards, systems and methods delivering accurate and quality project performance in a timely manner. Provide general administrative support to the Machine Shop including holiday cover where required. Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team.
