About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join CCSCollect and take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management and control of the business.
Working closely with the CFO and CCS Management Team, you’ll provide accurate financial reporting, analysis and insight to support the effective management of the business.
This is a hands-on and varied role, with responsibility across management accounts, month-end, reconciliations, cash flow, VAT, payroll, budgeting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing monthly management accounts and completing month-end processes. Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving reconciling items. Monitoring cash balances and supporting short-term cash flow management. Preparing VAT returns and supporting payroll processes. Providing financial information, analysis and commentary to the CFO and Management Team. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts and audit requirements. Maintaining and improving financial controls, processes and reporting. Managing and supporting members of the CCS finance team. Working collaboratively with operational teams and other finance teams across the Group.
About You
We’re looking for a qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant with relevant management accounting experience.
You’ll have strong experience producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, a good understanding of financial controls and accounting processes, and strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems experience.
We’re also looking for someone who is accurate, organised and analytical, with a practical, hands-on approach. You’ll be confident communicating with both finance and non-finance colleagues, take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
Experience within debt collection, financial services or a regulated environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Why CCSCollect?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied Finance Manager role, working closely with the CFO and wider Management Team.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day running of the finance function while also helping to improve processes, controls and reporting across the business.
