Are you a Manufacturing Engineer, with a composite materials or machining background, looking to play a key role in the development of advanced manufacturing processes and automation?
On offer is the opportunity to join a global manufacturing group, specialising in innovative composite and polymer products. The company supplies high-performance materials and components to a range of industries, including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Automotive, Transport and Industrial markets.
You will play a key role in developing and improving manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on automation and advanced machining. This will involve researching and selecting the most suitable composite materials based on client requirements, enabling the development of bespoke solutions.
You will also utilise CAD/CAM programming to produce technical drawings and complex machining programmes, while continuously improving process efficiency. Additionally, you will support the preparation of accurate product costings while ensuring manufacturing processes comply with ISO 9001 standards.
This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with experience using CAD/CAM, who has background in either machining or composite materials.
The Role
Researching into market trends and composite materials to create bespoke solution for clients Improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency Produce 3D models, assemblies and technical drawings using CAD Develop and prove complex machining programmes using CAM Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing and engineering issues Work with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams on technical solutions and product costings Monday to Thursday, 7:45 - 5, Friday, 7:45 - 12
