Project Manager
Cardiff, covering South Wales and the M4 Corridor
£40,000 to £45,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression + Pool Car + 3% Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Christmas Shutdown + Bank Holidays
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a construction or retrofit background, ready to take ownership of projects across South Wales and the M4 Corridor?
Do you have the leadership, commercial awareness and technical knowledge to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established construction and retrofit business, taking ownership of projects across South Wales and the M4 Corridor. You will play a key role in delivering projects while leading and developing a team of Project Coordinators.
You will manage projects from pre start through to handover, overseeing programmes, budgets, contractors, suppliers and internal teams. You will also manage client relationships, health and safety, quality and commercial performance.
The ideal candidate will have Project Management experience within construction or retrofit, alongside SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and strong knowledge of UK building regulations and CDM. You will be organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
About You
- Construction or retrofit Project Management experience
- SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS
- Strong knowledge of CDM and UK regulations
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Commercially aware with strong problem solving skills
The Role
- Manage projects from pre start to completion
- Lead and develop Project Coordinators
- Manage contractors, suppliers and site teams
- Control programmes, budgets, quality and H&S
- Manage clients and deliver successful handovers
