Overview
A well-established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a talented Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its growing M&E team based in the Essex area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of building projects across sectors such as commercial, education, residential, defence, and more.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering design and consultancy services, contributing to projects from inception through to completion.

Day-to-Day
On a typical day, you will:
Develop and refine electrical designs for a variety of building projects. Attend project meetings to discuss progress and address technical challenges. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project delivery. Conduct site visits to monitor project implementation and resolve any on-site issues. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project milestones.
Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Producing detailed electrical designs, specifications, and drawings. Assisting in the development of cost-effective engineering solutions. Reviewing tenders and preparing technical reports. Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications. Liaising with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical advice. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Proven experience in delivering electrical building services design across multiple projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech. Strong communication and organisational skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
