Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse Band: 6 Location: London, Greater London Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our client’s mental health team in London, Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic community setting, supporting individuals with a range of mental health needs. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, providing comprehensive assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with families and carers, and contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding procedures. The role also involves crisis management, medication administration, and supporting recovery-focused care in the community.

Qualifications and Experiences:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in a community mental health setting
Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a community caseload
