Job Title: General Medicine Grade: SHO Location: London, Greater London Working Hours: 7-50 hours, possible weekends, and On-calls Rate: £30 - £38 per hour
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a SHO in General Medicine to become a vital part of our client's dynamic and forward-thinking team in London, Greater London. What will your responsibilities be?
As a SHO in General Medicine, you will be integral to the management of acutely ill patients, ensuring they receive prompt and effective care. You will conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of consultants and registrars. Your role will involve participating in daily ward rounds, clerking new admissions, and performing necessary procedures. You will also provide support and guidance to junior doctors and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Additionally, you will be involved in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and contribute to the development of clinical protocols. Your dedication and clinical acumen will be essential in delivering high-quality acute medical care and improving patient outcomes
Qualifications and Experiences:
GMC registered
Proven experience in General Medicine
MRCP Preferred
6 months NHS experience
