This opportunity has arisen due to internal changes and an increase in workload. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to use their management accounting expertise within a meaningful and purpose-led sector. Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple campuses Analysing financial data to provide actionable insights, assisting with forecasting and budget updates that align with strategic objectives Collaborating with department heads and senior managers to streamline financial processes and foster proactive financial management Contributing to statutory financial reporting, internal and external audits, and maintaining robust financial controls Assisting in the delivery of financial planning activities, including cash flow management, capital expenditure reviews, and financial modelling
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or QBE Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within the education or public sector Strong numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with colleagues at all levels to explain financial information clearly Organised, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a fast paced environment while taking ownership of responsibilities
