Job Title: Echocardiographer Banding: Band 7 Location: Isle of Sheppey, Kent Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Rate: £40 - £50 per hour Duration: 3 months
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echocardiographer to join our esteemed client in Isle of Sheppey. This role involves performing specialist echocardiographic assessments, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, collaborating with cardiologists, and ensuring compliance with NHS protocols and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
As an Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive echocardiographic investigations, interpreting results, and providing detailed reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient care. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of imaging quality, adhere to British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) guidelines, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
BSE accreditation (essential).
Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
Proven experience in performing and reporting echocardiograms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
