General Sonographer – Cardiff
Position: Sonographer
Banding: 7
Location: Cardiff
Rate: £45 - £55 per hour
Days: Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Days: Monday - Friday
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at Cardiff. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. The duration of this contract will be ongoing with a competitive pay rate of £45.00 - £55 per hour. Must be available Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment.
Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
Abdomen and pelvic scans
Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
HCPC registration
1 Year UK experience as a sonographer with NHS and private sector.
