About the Opportunity:
This senior-level opportunity supports EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) on the Sizewell C (SZC) replication strategy for the main civil contract (SZ2201). The focus of this scope is on PTLS (Pools, Tanks, Liners, and Sumps) -critical civil structures and embedded metallic components for the Nuclear Island.
The objective is to leverage lessons learned and design maturity achieved on Hinkley Point C (HPC) to ensure robust technical governance, efficient tendering, and effective contract execution for SZC. Applications are invited for two key functions: PTLS Technical Leads (3 roles) and a Contract Engineering Lead (1 role) .
Key Responsibilities: PTLS Technical Leads (3 Positions)
Technical Governance: Provide technical oversight for assigned PTLS scopes, acting as a technical authority across nuclear civil structures, embedded plates/liners, sumps, and pools.
Deliverable Approval: Review, assess, and approve contractor technical deliverables, design packages, and construction sequencing.
Tender & Supplier Support: Assist in tender evaluations, supplier capability assessments, and the review of manufacturing/fabrication methodologies.
Site & Manufacturing Support: Resolve technical queries (TQs), design changes, and non-conformances during component fabrication, welding, and site installation.
HPC Replication: Actively promote HPC lessons learned, design replication strategies, and continuous improvement across the SZC PTLS scope.
Contract Engineering Lead (1 Position)
Primary Focal Point: Act as the main technical and contractual bridge between EPRE, Tier 1 suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
