Job Title: Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Dr Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Working Hours: 40 hours per week Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be?
This role involves delivering high-quality psychiatric care within an adult inpatient setting. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, contributing to treatment planning, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and compassionate mental health services. The postholder must hold Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status and will be expected to participate in ward rounds, clinical documentation, and service development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
- Experience in adult psychiatry, particularly within inpatient settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care
