The Role
As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering workforce and financial analysis that supports policy development, workforce planning and operational decision-making.#
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining complex workforce and financial models in Excel. Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Producing cost modelling and impact assessments for proposed business initiatives and workforce changes. Developing scenario planning and forecasting models to support strategic decisions. Translating business and policy questions into analytical specifications. Creating reports, dashboards and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Providing evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders. Supporting stakeholder discussions through clear, objective analysis. Collaborating with colleagues across analytics, policy and operational teams. Contributing to the continuous improvement of analytical processes and methodologies.
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this BI Analyst role, you'll have:
Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling, Pivot Tables, formulas, charts and VBA/macros. Strong analytical experience working with large and complex datasets. Demonstrable experience building and improving financial, operational or workforce models. The ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM subject.
