Job Title: Locum Physiotherapist - Community Neuro Team Banding : Band 6 Location : Mile End Hospital Start Date: ASAP Position Type : Full Time (02.09.24 - Ongoing) Hours : 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday Rate : £24 - £27 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our Community Neuro Team at Mile End Hospital. In this role, you will provide specialized physiotherapy services to patients with neurological conditions in the community, contributing to their rehabilitation and overall well-being.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist you will perform comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You will implement evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and enhance functional independence in daily activities. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated and holistic care. You will educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Must be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Must have a relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
Must have experience in neurological physiotherapy and community settings.
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
