Pharmacy Technician – Band 5/6 Macmillan centre Huntley street London
Location: UCH, Huntley Street, London, WC1E 6AG (with potential cover at 81 or 95 Harley Street) Start Date: ASAP (please confirm earliest availability) End Date: TBC – 3‑month cover initially , with potential extension Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (30‑minute unpaid lunch) Duration: Full-time Banding: Band 5 or Band 6 (dependent on CV review)
Job Overview
Harley Street at LOC are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide essential dispensary support within a hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting clinical pharmacy services at University College Hospital (UCH), with occasional cover at Harley Street locations when required.
This role is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician with strong hospital dispensary experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality dispensary services within a hospital pharmacy setting.
Accurately dispense and check medications in line with ACPT standards.
Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and governance requirements.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists, nurses, and wider healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Support stock management, ordering, and replenishment within the dispensary.
Cover alternative sites (HSC or LOC – 81 or 95 Harley Street) if required.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC.
ACPT accreditation – essential.
Hospital dispensary experience – essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
