We are recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a popular café/restaurant in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Colchester.
This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for a quality daytime role , working with fresh, seasonal produce in a busy but supportive kitchen.
The Role
Working as part of a small brigade of 2–3 chefs, you’ll be responsible for running your section and producing consistently high-quality food.
The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients with modern British influences .
You’ll ideally have experience in a similar fresh-food environment and be confident across different sections.
Key Responsibilities
Run your section during service Prepare and cook fresh, seasonal food to a high standard Support the senior chefs with the daily running of the kitchen Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards Assist with stock control, ordering and deliveries Ensure food is labelled, stored and rotated correctly Work effectively as part of a small team
