Support Worker
Location: Birchington, Kent
Salary: £25,845 per annum (pro rata) + £1200 Complexity Payment per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Full-time and part time opportunities available
You'll need to be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and sleep-ins across a seven-day rota. Drivers are also preferred due to the location of the service and the needs of the people we are supporting.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Birchington, providing care for three adult brothers with learning disabilities, autism, and complex challenging behaviours.
Successful candidates will demonstrate quick thinking, proactivity, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting individuals across all aspects of their personal lives.
Whilst no two days are identical, typical responsibilities may include:
Supporting individuals to engage in daily living activities, including full participation in their local community and beyond.
Facilitating social activities and maintaining connections with family and friends.
Assisting with financial management.
Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment and undertaking shopping duties.
Providing and encouraging personal care.
