Project Manager - New Product Introduction Location: South Yorkshire Type: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Salary: £50,000
Are you a hands-on Project Manager who thrives at the heart of product development? Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established UK manufacturer with strong heritage and serious investment in innovation, is looking for someone to lead their New Product Introduction (NPI) projects end-to-end. What the Project Manager will do: Reporting to the Programme Manager and working closely with the Head of R&D, you’ll manage NPI projects from initial scope to delivery, compliance, and documentation. Projects span hardware, software, and app development, requiring a compliance-driven, standards-focused approach. You’ll be the glue across R&D, production, supply chain, quality, compliance, commercial, and senior leadership teams.
Own NPI projects throughout the full product lifecycle Manage project schedules in Microsoft Project and provide regular updates to senior leadership Identify, monitor, and escalate risks and issues proactively Coordinate tasks across cross-functional teams Oversee technical documentation and highlight critical technical challenges Administer project tasks in JIRA, PLM, QMS, and ERP systems Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external partners
What we’re looking for:
Project management experience in a technical environment (engineering, electronics, hardware, or technology) Comfortable managing physical product development rather than purely digital projects High-volume manufacturing or consumer electronics experience is a bonus Strong stakeholder management skills - from shop floor to boardroom Flexible with methodology: Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid Proficient in Microsoft Project and the wider Office suite Proactive, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator
