Intermediate Mechanical Engineer | Billericay, Essex | £40,000 - £50,000 DOE | Hybrid
We're working with an established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to its M&E team in Billericay.
You'll work across a varied portfolio, with a particular focus on Healthcare and Education projects , supporting mechanical building services design from concept through to completion.
The role:
Deliver mechanical building services designs across multiple projects
Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports
Support projects from concept through construction and completion
Liaise directly with clients and understand project requirements
Review tenders and provide technical recommendations
Carry out site surveys, inspections and condition reports
Monitor installation works and project progress
Work with IES, AutoCAD and Revit
Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and wider multidisciplinary teams
Ensure designs comply with relevant CIBSE guidance, Building Regulations and industry standards
What we're looking for:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Experience in mechanical building services design
Experience using IES
AutoCAD experience
Revit experience preferred
Understanding of CIBSE guidance, Building Regulations and relevant legislation
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Strong communication and project delivery skills
