An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BD & Client Development Manager to join a leading international law firm, supporting a highly regarded Litigation practice.
This is a broad, strategic role combining practice-focused business development with key client programme management. Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you'll help drive business growth, strengthen client relationships and deliver impactful marketing and business development initiatives across the practice.
The Role
You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering client development activity, including:
Developing and delivering business development and marketing campaigns aligned with strategic priorities. Leading legal directory and award submissions, sponsorships and profile-raising initiatives. Managing pitches, proposals and client presentations, working closely with partners and bid specialists. Planning and delivering client events, thought leadership and marketing collateral. Supporting the development and management of key client programmes, including account planning, reporting and governance. Using market research, financial data and client insight to identify growth opportunities and improve client engagement. Championing the use of CRM systems, AI tools and best practice to enhance business development activity and drive efficiencies.
About You
You'll be an experienced business development or client development professional, ideally from a legal or professional services background, with the confidence to work alongside senior stakeholders and influence strategic initiatives.
You'll also bring:
Strong experience in business development, client development or marketing within a professional services environment. Excellent writing, communication and project management skills. Experience managing pitches, campaigns, events and client development programmes. A commercial, data-driven approach with the ability to translate insight into action. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for driving innovation, including the use of AI and digital tools. Previous experience supporting a Litigation practice would be advantageous.
