Our client is a well-established Generator & Power Generation Service provider. As a medium-sized company, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining high standards in their field.
Description
The Project Manager is a Hybrid role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of generator and power generation projects, overseeing delivery from contract award through to installation, commissioning, and final client handover.
This role requires strong project leadership, technical coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required technical and quality standards.
The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between clients, internal engineering teams, suppliers, and installation contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project life-cycle.
Projects may involve work in highly varied and technically demanding environments, requiring regular travel across the UK and Europe. All travel, accommodation, and related expenses are covered.

Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- YOU MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND IN power generation, generator systems, electrical distribution, backup power solutions or related generator/power providing equipment.
- Strong project planning, organisational, and coordination skills
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
- Professional and confident client-facing communication skills.
- Hybrid role depending on location
Desirable Experience - hugely advantageous to be from the background below or a similar sector with transferable skills.
- Knowledge or experience within power generation, generator systems, electrical distribution, or backup power solutions.
