Scrub Nurse / ODP Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £43,000 (DOE) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Sector: Private Healthcare The Role We are currently recruiting for a Scrub Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join a well-established private hospital in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a skilled theatre team, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures in a modern and well-equipped environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring the smooth running of theatre lists. Key Responsibilities
Prepare operating theatres for a range of surgical procedures Work as a scrub practitioner across various specialities Assist surgeons and the wider theatre team during procedures Maintain sterile technique and ensure infection control standards are met Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are correctly handled and accounted for Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative pathway Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ODP Previous experience working in a scrub role Exposure to a range of surgical specialities (desirable) Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and theatre practice Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexible and adaptable approach to work Benefits
