Management Accountant (Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Hybrid working (3 days in the office) Duration: Fixed-term contract until June 2027 Start Date: Immediate
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business for a Management Accountant to support the finance function during an exciting period.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for producing management accounts, forecasts, cash flow reporting, financial analysis, and supporting month-end processes. This role offers a blend of hands-on finance activities alongside business partnering with operational and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis Balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations Cash flow forecasting and reporting Payroll journal postings and payroll review VAT returns and intercompany accounting Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes Provide financial insight to operational stakeholders Help drive process improvements and maintain strong financial controls
Requirements:
Experience in management accounting and month-end reporting Strong reconciliation, forecasting and financial analysis skills Advanced Excel skills Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders Experience within manufacturing, construction, engineering, infrastructure or project-based environments would be advantageous
