Are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional ready to inspire the next generation of engineers and tradespeople?
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical Assessor Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Level 2 Electrical Installation and T Level in Building Services Engineering . This is a fantastic opportunity to shape learners in their first year of the T Level programme and support their practical development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in Electrical Installation and Building Services Engineering. Lead practical sessions for Level 2 learners and Year One T Level students. Coordinate teaching and assessment activities, working closely with colleagues and curriculum leads. Fulfil the role of class tutor, providing both administrative and pastoral support to learners. Ensure all teaching aligns with curriculum standards and promotes inclusive, safe learning.
Requirements:
Occupationally competent in Electrical Installation and Building Services Engineering. Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g. QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE). Experience teaching and assessing accredited qualifications, ideally from Entry Level to Level 3 or higher. Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices. DBS on the Update Service
