Oliver James are recruiting on behalf of a leading Reinsurer who are seeking the support of a senior Actuary. This opportunity would be well suited to someone from a pricing background, who has experience in data science, data analysis and/or data initiatives. This is a genuinely unique role which is centred around leveraging data analytics and AI initiatives to identify issues in early stage. You will use your excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve data quality and develop effective solutions. Start: August/ September Rate: Dependent on experience Location: London/ home working Required experience:
- FIA or equivalent or qualified by experience in the insurance industry (non-negotiable)
- Life insurance/ reinsurance - 8+ years minimum (non-negotiable)
- Pricing/ pricing model development (non-negotiable)
- Data science, data analysis and/or data initiatives - particularly projects around enhancing data quality (non-negotiable)
- AI (nice to have - independent work/ courses will be considered)
- Strong stakeholder management communication and influence (non-negotiable)
- Experience in project delivery, leading projects or acting as an SME in a project (non-negotiable)
