I'm supporting a well established law firm based in Portsmouth who is recruiting for a part time IT Trainer to head up all IT Training across all 5 offices ( Portsmouth, Southampton, Chandler's ford, Fareham and Waterlooville. You will be the go to person for all IT Training needs for all IT related areas in various formats, including but not limited to; Documentation, Video Guides, 1-2-1’s, Group Training etc. Responsible for the administration and creation of learning materials in the Learning Management System (LMS).
This role is working Monday to Friday - 5 hours per day, hours to suit right person.
As the IT Trainer you should be a people-person, experienced, confident and articulate and able to adapt training approach based on staff characteristics and level of staff IT knowledge which will vary, you should be self motivated and happy to work alone or as part of a team.
You will be proficient in various applications, including but not limited to:
Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Microsoft Teams (including Teams Telephony)
Digital Dictation (desirable but not a necessity)
Case Management Systems (desirable but not a necessity)
General applications such as Adobe, Web Browsers, Snipping Tool
The job role will involve - Providing IT Training for Staff, including new Staff Inductions and also including but not limited to:
1-2-1 Training (In person and/or remote)
Department/Group Training (In person and/or remote)
Regular Floor walking between all branches
Organising external Training venues or Courses
Develop and Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including but not limited to a. Documentation, Video Guides, Quizzes, Surveys/Feedback.
Work with departmental ‘Buddies’ on continuous improvement of Training and documentation, including- Training ‘Buddies’ on any changes to systems/process that may have been made. Updating training materials to account for any changes in departmental processes.
