Your new company An established social housing organisation is seeking an experienced Housing Services Assistant (Senior Level) to provide temporary support for a 4-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong housing background who enjoys a varied role combining housing management, customer service, compliance administration and tenancy support.Working as part of a busy housing team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to tenants and residents while ensuring compliance obligations are effectively managed. Your new role
Supporting the delivery of day-to-day housing management services. Processing and managing housing applications and allocations administration. Coordinating compliance activities including:
Gas servicing programmes Electrical Inspection Condition Reports (EICRs) Access arrangements and compliance record management
Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal departments. Assisting with tenancy management enquiries and housing administration tasks. Maintaining housing management databases and ensuring records are up-to-date. Providing excellent customer service and responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working within a social housing, housing association, or local authority setting. Experience undertaking housing management and tenancy-related administration. Knowledge of housing compliance requirements, particularly gas servicing and electrical safety programmes. Experience processing invoices and maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Desirable
Previous experience using HomeMaster housing management software. Experience supporting allocations, tenancy management, or wider housing services functions.
