Management Accountant Worksop | Up to £45,000 | Hybrid Working | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Are you a Management Accountant looking for a broader role where you can do more than simply produce the numbers? We are working with an established, privately owned group of businesses based in Worksop to recruit a Management Accountant into its growing finance team. The group operates across a number of sectors, with its core business focused on engineering, manufacturing and project-based operations . This creates a varied role with exposure to different businesses, operational teams and commercial projects. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for accounting across several group companies while also helping improve systems, processes and reporting. The Role You will be responsible for:
Preparing quarterly management accounts for a number of group companies Financial analysis and supporting operational decision-making Project accounting and cost allocation VAT returns and some payroll-related accounting Working closely with project and after-sales teams Reviewing and improving finance processes Supporting the implementation of new systems and ways of working There is genuine scope to make an impact. The Group Financial Controller has a number of improvements he wants to introduce, and this role will give you the opportunity to help shape how the finance function develops. About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within:
Manufacturing Engineering Construction Project-based or contracting environments Ideally, you will have experience of management accounts, project costing and cost allocation . You may be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified, studying, or qualified by experience. Relevant industry experience and the ability to take ownership are more important than qualification status alone. What's On Offer?
