Business Insights Analyst
Purpose of the role:
In your role you will provide a first-class service and support to our Customers, Client, and Field teams, liaising in a professional and courteous manner to drive revenue and performance in the business.
Reporting to the Senior Business Insights Manager, you will be responsible for owning and optimising data insights on field team, category, and retailer performance, whilst supporting the wider commercial team by identifying opportunities for the business growth.
This is a unique opportunity to join the business insights team at Dee Set where you will receive full training in:
The Retail Field Sales & Marketing Industry. Resource / Journey Planning. Power BI and other Microsoft platforms. Bespoke App and Software Training. Forward Thinking Business Strategy.
Responsibilities of the role:
This is a collaborative role working closely with client managers and customers, so you will need the ability to build successful working relationships. You enjoy working with complex data and developing compelling stories to positively influence others. Your approach must be very analytical to influence the business goals. You have a forward thinking, flexible attitude, and the ability to work at pace. You are proficient in Excel, Access, and Power BI. You enjoy problem solving. Understand the needs of each customer and be able to plan and execute accordingly.
Skills/Experience Required:
Able to demonstrate strong Organisational, Planning and Time Management Skills. Excellent IT skills including advanced level of Microsoft Excel, understanding of Microsoft Access, and ability to demonstrate excellent reporting and analytical skills. Strong communication skills at all levels; both written and verbal. Attention to detail and a determination to ‘get the job done'. Experience of working in a fast-paced growing environment and ability to adapt in an ever-changing role. Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and KPI's. A willingness to continually improve and develop as the company requires, both in skills and system advancement. Mathematical and logic thinking.
