Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with specialized expertise in high-rise residential and commercial architecture to join our design team. In this role, you will lead complex multi-story building projects from concept design through construction administration, driving technical execution using Autodesk Revit. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams, ensure local building code compliance, and maintain design integrity on large-scale urban developments.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Execution
Lead the architectural design and technical development of high-rise commercial, residential, or mixed-use towers.
Produce and oversee complete construction document (CD) packages, architectural details, exterior enclosure assemblies, and interior layouts using Autodesk Revit .
Solve complex high-rise design challenges, including core and shell layouts, vertical transportation (elevators/stairs), wind loading considerations, life safety, and curtain wall envelope detailing.
BIM & Revit Management
Maintain strict adherence to project BIM execution plans (BEP), modeling standards, and LOD (Level of Development) requirements.
Conduct regular clash detection using Navisworks/Revit and coordinate models across structural, MEP, and civil engineering disciplines.
Create, manage, and refine custom parametric Revit families, templates, and automated workflows.
Project Coordination & Management
Serve as the primary architectural contact for consultants, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and general contractors.
Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and Requests for Information (RFIs) during the Construction Administration (CA) phase.
Perform site visits and field inspections to ensure construction complies with approved design documents, zoning laws, and building codes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program.
Licensure: Registered Architect (RA) license strongly preferred; NCARB certification is a plus.
Experience: 7+ years of professional architectural experience, with a proven track record working specifically on high-rise (15+ stories) projects .
Revit Mastery: 5+ years of advanced, daily hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit within a production environment (BIM coordination and family creation required).
