Our client is a market leader in their industry and looking to add a Finance Manager to their team in a newly created role.
This is a hybrid position in Nottingham and is payng up to £50,000.
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who can work closely with the Finance Director and support the finance team. This is a hands on position in the finance team in Nottingham.
The successful Finance Manager will have a split role between Business Partnering and Management Accounts.
Description
Preparation of Management Accounts Month and year end closing processes Support with reporting requirements Reconciliations Oversee transactional ledgers Maintaining fixed asset register Producing P and L Assisting Finance Director with budgets and forecasts Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability. Prepare and present financial reports and budgets to stakeholders. Monitor and analyse financial performance against targets. Identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform business planning. Support the development and implementation of financial strategies. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist in forecasting and investment appraisals to support business growth.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be Qualified by Experience Experience in a hands on Finance Manager position / Management Accountant role Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Strong business acumen and understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sector. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in financial systems and tools. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
