Electronic Design Engineer
Relocation package offered to move close to Watford to become a senior driver in our well funded R&D department producing high quality, innovative instrumentation.
We're looking for candidates having good electronic circuit design and electrical design with some basic firmware programming experience. Any exposure to higher voltage such as mains or EV would be an advantage. If you want a varied and dynamic role within a well established and successful business - this role is the next step in your Electronic Design Engineering career.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Electronic Design Engineer - Electronic Circuit Design, R&D, Test and Measurement Instrumentation
As our Electronic Design Engineer working in our R&D department, you will be designing and developing electronic circuitry and firmware for portable and hand held electrical equipment. You will be redesigning existing products for annual product launches.

·Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment. ·Maintenance of existing product line, e.g. due to component obsolescence, changes in standards, etc
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electronic Design Engineer - Electronic Circuit Design, R&D, Test and Measurement Instrumentation
You're an experienced Electronic Design Engineer with some exposure to an R & D environment. You have hands-on experience of both analogue and digital electronic design.
Any experience of design / new product development of instrumentation or measurement equipment would be an obvious benefit.
Knowledge of embedded firmware design for ARM-based microcontrollers (e.g. STM32) would be of benefit, as would proficiency with PCB design and circuit simulation tools (e.g. Altium, LTSpice).
Candidates with inverter development experience are generally strong matches, as are some candidates with EV BMS design.
