Job Title: Specialty Doctor – Adult Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Doctor Location: London, Greater London Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in London, Greater London. This locum vacancy is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care within a General Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to the development of individualised treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery
- Support senior clinicians in managing complex cases and care coordination
- Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC licence to practise
- Experience in General Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
- Previous experience in a similar role
